Welcome to Murray’s Cheese LIC!

Designed by Rockwell Group, Murray’s Cheese LIC is the first of it’s kind from Murray’s. Featuring both a Murray’s Cheese Bar restaurant and an adjacent Murray’s Cheese Shop, this is truly a one-stop-shop for all things cheese. The borough is already home to Murray’s cheese aging caves, and the team took inspiration from the many colors and materials used for cheese aging and cheesemaking while creating the space.

THE CHEESE BAR

The menu at Murray’s Cheese Bar features cheese boards along with seasonally-inspired dishes from Executive Chef Clare Malfitano. Chef Clare works with our mongers to highlight cheeses and fresh dairy alongside seasonal produce, carefully-sourced meats, and ingredients from the Murray’s shop next door.

We are now open for indoor and outdoor dining with limited bar seats indoors. Come join us inside for a cheesy bite or enjoy our new outdoor enclosure while you sip one of our refreshing frozen beverages!

We also offer takeout, so come pick up a bottle (or two!) of our team’s favorite wines and beers, paired to perfection with our seasonal menu. We’re excited to host you soon!

THE CHEESE SHOP

Murrays Cheese Shop features a rotating selection of pre-cut cheeses, all carefully sourced from around the world; the cheese selection rotates regularly so that customers can always find something new.  Along with cheese, the shop is full of more than 400 items, from charcuterie, fresh dairy, smoked fish, prepared foods, pasta and sauces to chocolates, fresh baguettes, iced coffee and more for the neighborhood to peruse or order for delivery.  The shop is a self-service model, which invites the customer to explore the cheese case alongside Murray’s trained cheesemongers.

ATTENTION BLEECKER STREET!

Murray’s Cheese Bar has moved its location to Long Island City, Queens. Planning a visit to Bleecker Street? You can still shop your favorite cheeses, charcuterie and pantry staples at the cheese shop. And if you’re feeling hungry, we’ve converted the original Cheese Bar location down the street to house our delicious signature mac & cheese along with Murray’s Melts and other seasonal specials!
